Terms of use
Last updated 1 October 2026. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Sidelane is run by Artifesto ASBL, non-profit association, Square Marie-Louise 17 box 7, 1000 Brussels, enterprise number 0790.819.917 (Belgium). You can reach us at info@sidelane.live.
Your account
- You must be at least 16, and give true details about yourself and your acts.
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
- An act you add must be yours, or one you are allowed to represent.
Plans and prices
- Until 31 March 2027, everything is free for every member.
- After that, the paid plan Backstage costs €15 a month or €150 a year. Founding members pay €8 a month or €80 a year for as long as they stay members. New members then get 30 days of Backstage free, without a card.
- We will announce paid plans, and any later price change, at least 30 days in advance. Nothing is charged without your explicit order. Details on how it works.
Credits
- Credits measure what artists do for each other. They have no money value, can’t be bought, sold or cashed out.
- We may cancel credits earned by breaking the rules (for example fake accounts, fake reports or shows that did not happen) and correct mistakes in balances.
- The rules for earning and spending credits are on the how-it-works page and may evolve; we explain changes there.
What you post
- Reports, venue details, messages and reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. No insults, threats or discrimination, and no private details of other people (such as a booker’s personal email or phone number).
- You keep the rights to what you write. You allow Sidelane to show it on the site and to use it to improve the map (for example a summary of several reports), including after your account is closed, without your name.
- We may edit or remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that do.
What Sidelane is, and isn’t
- Venue information comes from public sources and from artists. We check what we can, but venues change: always confirm dates, fees and conditions with the venue.
- Sidelane is not an agent and is not part of any agreement between you and a venue or another artist. Fees, contracts, cancellations and payments are between you and them.
- The AI tools can be wrong. Read what they write before you send it.
- Country guides (tax, collecting societies, funding) are general information, not legal or tax advice.
- Please don’t copy the map in bulk, scrape it, or use it to send spam. Booking contacts are shared for real booking requests only.
Liability, changes and law
We work hard to keep Sidelane running and accurate, but we provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost bookings, fees or indirect damage. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under EU and Belgian law.
You can close your account at any time by writing to info@sidelane.live. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell members by email before the change applies.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes go to the courts of Brussels, unless the law gives you another choice.
